A bail schedule is a pre-set list of bail amounts by charge type. Each Florida county maintains its own schedule.

How It Works

1. You're arrested and booked
2. The jail looks up your charge on the county's bail schedule
3. Bond is set at the scheduled amount
4. You can post bond immediately (no need to wait for a judge)

When the Schedule Doesn't Apply

Judges can override the schedule at first appearance. They may increase or decrease bail based on: criminal history, community ties, flight risk, and danger to the community.
