Arrested in Parrish? All Manatee County bookings process through the Manatee County Jail. We connect you with licensed local bondsmen.
Parrish is an unincorporated community in northern Manatee County. There is no city police; the Manatee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) provides law enforcement. All arrests transport to the Manatee County Jail in Palmetto, about 20 minutes west.
Parrish has transformed from a sleepy agricultural and citrus town into one of the fastest-growing residential areas in Florida. MCSO deputies are constantly managing the severe traffic congestion and property crime associated with massive master-planned communities replacing rural acreage.
US Highway 301 is the absolute dominant commercial and commuter corridor. The highway cannot currently handle the influx of tens of thousands of new residents. Traffic enforcement, managing complex multi-vehicle accidents, and monitoring the massive new retail plazas are constant priorities for MCSO.
Parrish sits just south of the Hillsborough County border (Sun City Center). Fleeing suspects frequently cross the jurisdictional line on US-301 or I-75. MCSO frequently coordinates with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office to manage boundary issues and track stolen vehicles moving between the two massive counties.
The Manatee County Clerk at (941) 749-1800 handles case lookups. The 12th Circuit courthouse is in downtown Bradenton. The massive population boom in Parrish means it has become a major source of law enforcement activity and subsequent jail bookings for the county.
The completion of the Fort Hamer Bridge created a massive new north-south corridor connecting Parrish directly to Lakewood Ranch. This has fundamentally altered traffic patterns and accelerated development. MCSO has had to aggressively expand its patrol zones in Parrish to keep up with the thousands of new homes being built along the Moccasin Wallow Road corridor.
Surety bonds (10% non-refundable premium) and cash bonds are accepted. Bonding agents must be registered with the Manatee County Clerk of Court. Call (941) 477-6888 to reach a registered Manatee County bondsman who can post at the facility.
All arrests in these cities are processed through the county jail. The booking and bail process described above applies to every one of them.
